What are some things that, if invented would could not possibly serve their purpose (ie, will be totally useless). I heard one on TV the other day, it was waterproof teabags.

Oh yeah, and there was non stick Cellotape and fire proof-cigarettes. One of the funniest would be ejector seats for helicopters  [:D]

My missus and me had an argument as we were packing away the shopping as i put the squashables and breakables at the bottom of the shopping bag. I asked her why would someone invent a breakable if you couldnt break it.

I decided to leave it and let her win after i heard her call me a oxy bloody moron.

Sheep shell suits (http://www.newscientist.com/gallery/dn14860-patents-images/4): Clippers have improved a little over the years, but sheep are still shorn in essentially the same way for nearly 100 years. Australian company Pitman-Moore Australia proposed giving sheep a drug that makes their hair fall out instead - Velcro-lined suits would catch the woolly harvest. Tests on Merino sheep produced promising results, they say.

The cranks of the hand pedals would have to be shorter than half the drivers reach,
 otherwise they would have to move their torso back and forward to operate them.

[I believe the hand-pedals can be set to opposite positions, like foot-pedals,
 although I think this would make the "Handy" more difficult to steer]
