Title: When using vinegar to remove rust will it also remove the paint underneath?

   Vinegar Rust Removal.
Will the vinegar attack the paint beneath the rust that is forming?

It depends on the paint, but it is unlikely to affect most of the paints used on metal. Just remember to clean it off thoroughly before repainting.
