Title: What is hypnosis and how does it work?

Can people really be pursuaded to do something they don't want to, like give up smoking (!), or "remember" lost memories from childhood, as is alleged to happen sometimes?

George pls do a search under my username and look at some of my previous posts. I know quite a bit about hypnosis and you will find I have posted some useful information in the past.

The doc is back (although not a real doctor just a pretend internet one!)
