    I think it depends on how you define physics and which aspect of physics you're talking about. In general it could be Newton, Aristoteles or Einstein. In Germany they call Max Planck the "Father of modern physics".

    It is rather impossible to trace the origin of physics back to merely one "founder", though the discussion is interesting. I believe that we need to think of the early Greek thinkers such as Thales, Aristotle, Plato, Socrates and Pythagoras. Even though they are all considered philosophers, our understanding of physics can most likely be traced back to them.

    Who is the father of physics?
    What do you think?

    @sanu

    IMHO This Question is a tad bit Illogical.

    It makes ZERO sense.

    Hi.

      @Zer0 's post was a bit controversial and surprisingly poignant.  Thanks Zero that was worth reading.
    I'm not going to repeat all of that post here.

    After Thought.

    It does seem Incorrect to place forward & reward a Single Person for the efforts & accomplishments of the whole Species.

    Even Bats, Frogs & Bunnies etc etc have played a vital role in Our collective achievements.

    But yes, such questions might have Positive effects on young minds.
    When they share info about their idols, they spread knowledge of their inventions & discoveries with it too.

    Growing up, you learn to discard Who said it n focus on What was said.
