Isn't this More Correct?
« on: 25/05/2021 19:30:46 »
They say the lagrangian has a term: ∑i qx'i Ai.

Shouldn't it read: ∑i,j qx'i Aj with i ≠ j, since particle i is moving in the field created by particle j?

Do you just sum similarly if there are 3 particles?

I mean: ∑i xikAil

where i is components of the vectors and k and l are worldline numbers.
