what caused the eukaryotic transcription gene and is it a many path process?
« on: 10/07/2021 14:54:19 »
Hi,

I am not a scentist.
According my own research the invention of the eukaryotic cell, together with the development of eukaryotic gene organization, has to be a key transition on the path to complex organism.

I read some research how the eukaryotic cell (in theory) can be Invented, RNA World, an inside-out origin for the eukaryotic cell, etc.

But what regarding the gene organization ? What caused and can cause the eukaryotes inactive transcription gene organization and do we have some clues if this is a many path event or not?

What I understood is that the evolution of a gene organization in which the default expression status was transcription inactive was the key, and a unique, innovation that allowed eukaryotes to evolve the complex control systems so I am wondering what caused this, what can cause this and do we have some clues if this is a many path event or not ?

Thank you so much,

Can anyone give an answer to this question?
