How easy is it to get a GeoThermal energy source?
« on: 13/01/2022 10:24:48 »
Mike would like to know the possibility of this hypothetical situation.

"For digging the new HS2 tunnel they are using a large Tunnel Boring Machine. If we laid this down flat and set it boring vertically downwards, would it eventually find sufficient geothermal energy that we could use it to power a city and how long would it take to get there? For that matter, could I buy a small one to dig down in my garden and find my own personal geothermal energy to power my house?"

What do you think? Leave your answers below...
