Today i ran into someone who took a bath in this sickeningly sweet perfume. I tried to make a quick getaway, but I was trapped with this woman for about 30 minutes. The smell was so strong that I got a headache. Since seeing her this morning, I've been tasting this perfume all day long. It has made me nauseous. When I mentioned it to my hubby and brother, they said it was in my head. Are they correct? Am I crazy? Or is there an explanation as to why I can still taste this disgusting perfume. And how can I get rid of it?

Carolyn, I have perfume allergies to certain kinds, Blow your nose thoroughly, then eat something!! This helps clear it from your nostrils the hair inside traps the chemicals seems to carry with you longer.. I find mush relief by blowing my nose several times. Sound weird but works for me!

No, it isn't weird...nose hairs are filters...I forgot about that one..geez...LOL

Thanks for the response ladies. I've tried both of your suggestions. Guess what. It has been 14 hours since my exposure to this perfume drenched woman and I still taste it and smell it. I've had a shower, changed my clothes, but it's still there. I've had it happen before, but the effects were only for a few minutes at the most. This is crazy. I feel like I'm going to get sick. Maybe that'll make it go away.
