Gail Farrar asked the Naked Scientists:
Would you be able to give me a comparison between a nuclear body scan vs. a CT body scan?
When would you use one over the other?
Gail Farrar
What do you think?

I'd chose a CT body scan over a nuclear one as the radiation from
an X-Ray or CT, MRI scans are minimal with the difference the danger of the nuclear ones.
BTW if these medical scans were dangerous to the radiologists then they'd not dare do them for fear of being sued.
Also I've had an X-Ray also the MRI and it was unpleasant but
it didn't hurt me.
Although the side-effects of X-Rays did kill Rosalind Franklin when she got ovarian cancer and it's other effects too.

I don't think it's safe to assume MRIs are safe. I had a SPECT scan of my brain, and I'm not sure how they differ, but as soon as the girl turned the machine on, I developed an extreme urge to urinate, and it did not let up until 45 minutes later when the test was finished.
And yes, I did use the bathroom immediately prior, but I have electrosensitivities and these frequencies make me ill.
