Title: What Chemical/s would remove plant matter and resin from glass by add hot water.
Post by: Dagga Ballie on 16/06/2021 19:31:07
Hi everyone

I am looking for either one or a few different powder compounds that react with hot water safely to remove plant matter and resin from glass.
Do you have any suggestions of something that would be safe to use without being a scientist ?

I have attached a picture of a product i did use that closed shop during lockdown, it is white slightly course with blue/turq specs . When adding hot water to this product there would be a slow but fast acting reaction where the solution cleans the glass to spotless .

Have a great day further
Regards

It is hard to know without having more detailed information about the plants and resin, but hot water and washing soda  (sodium carbonate Na2CO3 ) is worth trying
