Title: Girly skin versus Boysy Skin

This might belong in the Physiology section.



You see all these products from skin care to shampoo as gender specific.

Is there really a difference between girly hair and skin compared to boysy hair and skin  ? or is it all just commercial propaganda ?

Men are the same as women.... just inside out !!

Dunno I have noticed that women's skin tends to be dryer than blokes, I don't know if this is due to an intrinsic thing, diet, or relative rates and types of washing. From my limited experience, make up removal strips all the healthy grease from your skin, leaving you needing special moisturisers.

Acne seems to be a lot more prevelant in teenage boys than in girls. Does that indicate that boys' skin is inherently greasier?

I would guess that boy skin is inherently the same as girl skin, but the girls wash more often and use makeup and makeup remover, thus making the boys more prone to acne.

No boys are more prone to acne because we cant take the pill.

As for girls skin, lovely
