and second, if you do die before impact, can a coroner tell the difference if you did or not?

Ok, my curiosity has been TWEEKED (pun very intended) about nipples. You have the obvious, forever asked question of why men have them. I want to know a little more about them. My wife's and oldest son's nipples go in (inverted)... Why? Some get very erect while some others don't... why? I'm a grown man and have perpetually erect nipples. It's almost embarrassing. [:I] Short of taking toenail clippers to them, [

Thanks. I'm starting to get it. My wife said the same thing that LeeE said about my confusing perimeter with area. I think that may be the case. I'm not going to tell her though. She'll make fun of me, do a little "I-told-you-so" dance and her head will swell up. Then we'll have a "How-much-volume-is-my-wife's-head?" math question. The problem is getting a little more clear. Still not there yet. The hurt in my brain is becoming more faint. More of a tickle now.
Think I'll go back to the lumber yard for alot more boards. I think the boards to make the 20,000,000 x 20,000,000 will take a few trips. However, I may need that space for all the spherical cows to graze.

There may be a chemist here to better answer your question, but I'll take a swing at it.
I know that you can catch a bubble if the catching surface has a coating of the same bubble material. It could be that the chemical breakdown of the two soaps differ. The bar soap would have a different ph level. Maybe more astringent.
When cooking rice or pasta, if it starts to boil over, you touch it with a little butter (an oil, and soap is an oil too) and it goes down. Or the head on a beer goes down if touched by the oil from your finger. This may be the same concept or could be way off, but it's how I imagine it.

Karen, I haven't built it yet, so it was a question that I just pondered in my wee little brain. That does make sense though that the widths of the boards at the adjoining edges would eat up some of the space. However, even on paper with a pencil thin line it does this space time morphing thing.
Still perplexed.

My daughter and I were building a raised garden in the yard and we discussed the sizes to build it. After a few different sizes discussed, we both noticed a problem. Now, this may be simple math, but I just can't wrap my brain around this one. Please explain it to me so I can explain it to her. Please bare with me, as I'm a "Yank" and use feet and square feet.
Here goes:
I have two boards that are 8 feet long. If I make the garden square with 4 sides of 4 feet, I have a surface area to plant in of 16 square feet. If we go with cutting the boards at 5 feet with a 3 foot remainder, we have a 3 foot by 5 foot garden. Now we have 15 square feet to plant in. 2 foot by 6 foot = 12 square feet. etc. etc.
How does the surface area change if the lengths of the boards do not. They are only cut differently. Please help us out.

Wow. It's been years since I was here last. Missed Y'all.
As a commercial flooring contractor, I had a conversation with a client the other day on this very topic. We discussed the stone quarries that export all the marbles and granites throughout the world. If your taking all that stone from one spot and shipping it elsewhere and it tends to accumulate in one spot, will it affect the tilt / orbit / speed of the earth? He used an analogy of putting a wad of gum on a ball and throwing it. It may affect it slightly, but not enough to notice... Until caught.

My thoughts are that everything in the universe is an accumilation of spheres / circles. From atomic matter to the shape of the universe. It probably curles around and has no beginning or end. No boundries. Outside the sphere? I don't know...maybe "Heaven / Hell"? Maybe a vacuum. Nothingness, whatever that is. As dark is not dark, but merely the absence of light. Cold is the absence of heat. etc. Outside of infinity is merely the absence of infinity. Damnit, I thought I had something. Now my head hurts.

Wow! If either of these companies ever go public, I definately want to buy stock. This could save millions of lives in the event of a severe drought. I wonder if you could use the dehydrated water in your pool or bath? I'm going to look into producing a shower system for this. This is so intriguing! I see such possibilities with this.

I've always believed the feet (along with other apendages) to be the body's natural thermostats. So, if you do the topical cold, it would shoot blood there to warm the area. I'm not saying to add heat instead, but you might try elevating your feet to slow down the blood to them. This may be horribly layman, but it makes sense to me. Hopefully some of these smart people will chime in. You may want to see a doc about this as well. Not to worry you, but poor / slow circulation can be a sign of more serious things such as diabetes or neuropathy. Good luck in the quest for a better nights rest.
