Well I don't remember if it was in Buffalo or not, but there was a huge snow storm last year somewhere around there and they put all the snow in one huge pile out in the middle of no where. They said that pile woudln't be completely melted until half the way threw summer. Does anyone even recall? If you do did you hear what happened to the pile?

I don't remember the event, but to answer your other question...it melted. [;)] The reason it takes until the summer to melt, is because the pile is so damn big and compacted...do a google for municipal snow pile or lot...
