My secondary school was opposite Wessex Drive and Essex Close. On our last day of school we went off with a large pot of Tipex (correction Fluid) and whited out the Wes and Es on the signs.

Austin has 4 universities, 6 colleges and 5 theological seminaries, including the Episcopal Theological seminary of the Southwest and one of these hard arsed Scottish religious institutions, a Presbyterian seminary. It is about the only civilized place in Texas to live.

And it is NOT a redneck hell, either; although we need to keep a few around to do the dirty work.

Austin is simply beautiful, nestled in the hills of central Texas as it is.
