Ruwan Rodrigo asked the Naked Scientists:
Chris,
Does eating a lot of spicy peppers like Habanero chili cause stomach cancers?
Thank you,
Ruwan Rodrigo
What do you think?

Well, stomach ulcers are caused by bacteria. There is no evidence that stomach cancer is related to eating spicy food, though there is some evidence that continually eating and drinking hot things may be related.
