I did read somewhere that one reason for having an erection on waking was because of a full bladder, most who have one on waking also have a strong urge to pee.

In a sense its a way to stop you peeing the bed unintentionally while asleep and has little to do with sex. You wake with an erection and the first thing you have to do is go for a pee!

this is true.  the phenomenon known as "morning wood" has little to do with sex, and is actually a mechanism to help prevent urination in your sleep.  It evolved because urine has a strong smell, and in the wild  if you accidentally urinated in your sleep, it would be pretty easy for your predators to track you down when you are your most vulnerable (sleeping).

that would only be a valid theory if men wake with erections every day.. AFAIK this is not the case.. although urinations is imminent shortly after waking.

Having said that I understand that the 'morning glory' as we call it, has very little to do with sexual function and more to do with sphincter contraction.

As you can tell obviosly, us humans still are wild animials no matter how much we gain.

So if we make things, that means they would have to be natural to since we are? ha

An odd topic of conversation...
Nocturnal erection in males of many species occurs intermittently during the night.
It is not generally associated with dreaming.
It is observed in very young children and has, so I have read, observed in utero- clearly before they learn to avoid bedwetting.
It cannot, therefore, be a mechanism to avoid nocturnal urination.
There is a hypothesis that it's to ensure that, at least for part of the time, the organ concerned is provided with enough blood to maintain its health.

Not that i doubt you, but have you ever tried urinating with an erection?

"Not that i doubt you, but have you ever tried urinating with an erection?"
It's perfectly possible but it tends to be messy.
Perhaps more importantly, if this were the reason for men not wetting the bed you would need to find the reason for the other half of the species not doing so.
Also, while there's probably a correleation between impotence and enuresis, one doesn't always imply the other.

A birthmark is a blemish on the skin formed before birth. They are part of the group of skin lesions known as naevi. The cause of birthmarks is unknown, but may include cellular damage due to radiation or chemicals. Some types seem to run in families.   [::)] [;)]
abnormality of the skin that is present at birth or shortly afterward.

That's a good question. Maybe if we were "wild animals" it would turn them on and they'd give it harder? haha

well for wild animals it wouldn't matter quite so much since in the "doggy style" position the breath doesn't go in each others face so much

Even though I am 28 now, I never had sex dream. Whenever I wet dreamed, the dream was just me masturbating to something else.
