So think of this, there was a famous historical event, for example, Guillotine and/or World War II and we would be able to access the memory of that event we would be able to walk, dream of it, and see exactly how that event happened. We can't pick up or touch things on the event, only see and walk.
It's not exactly Time Travel, but you can discover the truth of what happened on that event.
