Title: Black holes suck in time?
Post by: Nobody's Confidant on 26/10/2007 17:39:56
I heard that even time can't escape a black hole, is this true?

That makes it sound as if time is an object.

According to relativity, you can't separate time & space; hence the term "spacetime". Spacetime becomes extremely warped in the vicinity of a black hole and is dragged around by the hole's rotation; so maybe that's what you're thinking of.

The light-con is tilted towards the hole; it means that you can't remain in a stationary position inside the event horizon: you can only go more and more towards the singularity.

Black hole is (cold)remnant of star. Black hole consist of neutrons and protons(Insignificant percent)only. surface of blackhole is covered by remnants of colapsed star. thin layer of different chemical admixtures.
Even small black hole has huge gravitation. walking on the black hole unbelievable. you can die Immediately by huge gravitation.
Planets are  Continuing  rotation around black hole.
There is spacetime of cold universe
