Title: Why Do Chillies Give Ewe Hiccups ?

Dearest Darling Chilliologists,

As a sheepy I am of course very hot stuff !...strutting my stuff...walking my walk,..talking my talk !...ewe cans see the effect I have on girly peeps !!  [ Invalid Attachment ]

These Chili Things Earlier Today



Watching Masterchef last night one of the contestants added way too many chillies into her dish and two of the tasters immediately developed hiccups !!

Why's that then ?...Why Do Chillies Give Ewe Hiccups ?


Ewe see...I just do not know and I want to know...and someone told me this site offers this service where ewe ask a question and people filled with answers offer them to ewe................which is nice !.....are ewe one of them ?

Personally - yes they do, especially if unexpected.

Thanks imatfaal ....but how do they give ewe hiccups !...is it the unexpectedness of the taste/heat or is it something more intrinsic to chilli's themselves  ?

I've no idea either, but I thought you would like to know that curry gives me hiccups if it's hot enough. I presume it's because of some sort of chilli in the curry.

Thank Ewe Geezer....yes...it's something specific to the Chili.....Apparently the hiccups can last up to 2 hours  !!
