Title: What is this that I cut out of my back?

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea what this is? It was deeply imbedded in my back for about two years and although it was visible from the skin surface (looked kind of like an ingrown blackhead) it needed a significant incision to be removed. It is round, hard, and 2.75mm tall by 2mm wide. Any ideas?

Trying to get medical advice from a discussion forum is a very bad idea.
