Title: Why do heavy people rub their stomach when hungry?

I know in ancient japan Shinto monks put warm stones in their robes to stave off hunger. Can this be applied to belly rubbing?

Do you mean children?
Practically all adults are heavy as you would realise if you tried to carry one.
