Di Smith asked the Naked Scientists:
Why do flies in a room circulate in the same place for hours. They fly out , around the room and then fly back into a specific circle?
Thank you
Di
What do you think?

Well , I've heard that flies have a very weak memory , so when you slap at an annoying fly it obviously flies away but after just a few seconds it comes flying back to the same place; this happens because of the fly's weak memory.
