My mind was wandering the other day when this idea hit me.

"It's not just what you are thinking about, it's what you could be thinking about."

It makes sense, I mean thought, when you have the time for it, can be very productive or superfluous.
for example, It's not wrong to think about what I would do if I hit the lottery, but it would be more productive to think about the best way to save money.
Just a thing to think about.

I figured that this would be the appropriate place for this thread, since it's purely philosophical.

Welcome to the Forum. Beaver was having a fling on the South African's finest.

You will also find that in this section, not much is taken seriously except the insults and the jokes. You can expect remarks suck as "You actually can think" or "I wondered what goes on in the minds of village idiots." 

This is just the typical welcome all of us get. Ask MIL(F) - the Make It Lady. Here welcome once she posted, was rudely greeted by some of site hooligans. She has adapted well and is now part of the group.

So welcome, and don't take us seriously - that is "don't take MOST of us seriously." There are some spoiled sports who just don't have a sense of humor.

As to your thought - how would you know there were other things to think about if you were thinking of something???

I waste a lot of energy worrying about things when I should be thinking positively. However, when I really try to stop worrying about stuff, the worrying thought keeps muscling its way back in. Thoughts can be real bullies sometimes.
