Title: Brita Fliltered Vodka = Smooooooth Vodka
Post by: Andrew K Fletcher on 17/06/2005 13:37:34
Found this doing a google and found it be very interesting indeed and amusing. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did..

Its about a group of young scientists experimenting with a water filter and cheap and nasty vodka, turning it into smooth and palatable hang over free vodka by using a Brita water filter jug, passing it through several times to achieve a completely different vodka.

Thinking about trying it with some rather dodgy whiskey etc to see if I can improve the quality of the nasty undrinkable stuff that's been in the cupboard for years [:)]

Wow Wow Wow

I just filtered a bottle of undrinkable Sloe vodka from Prague, give to me by a supposed friend. It is the worst spirit I have ever tasted, and considering I made my own distillery during early 20’s, I’ve tasted some pretty mean stuff in the past, but this one takes some beating (R. JelineK Moravska Jvetska 40%)

I passed it through a clean filter 5 times as described in the link, after first flushing the new filter out with water to remove traces of carbon.

This vodka is now one of the best I have ever tasted. So smooth it’s unbelievable nice, slides down like milk from the breast.  As they say in Russia “Nostrovia”, sorry but not smashing the glass in the fireplace, saving it for another vodka.
