Does anyone know what this turquoise egg-like thing is that was in a cooked chicken when sliced open? There were three that could be seen and coloured staining on the flesh around them. That's a regular sized steak knife in the photo. The fellow in the meat department didn't seem keen to find out what it is, and squished the "egg" with his finger.

They look like cysts.

Don't eat there then. Likely a cyst in the battery chicken, which was spread by close contact and controlled by mass antibiotic use to keep them alive long enough to slaughter.

LOL though at the thought of a non vegan scientist. Unfortunately just barely more scientists are vegan than the rest of the population.
