hi all. some days i can definitely tell that i'm pregnant. i'm emotional, i feel sick, and and overall very... pregnant. some days though, like yesterday, i felt completely normal. why would this be? should i be concerned that i don't always feel pregnant?
-
I felt that way the whole time.. but I was not sick.. felt big but very happy more so then normal days.. Your morning sickness may be easing up around three months it usually disappears for most women.. or at very least gets better. Some are sick the whole time but it is not as common..
I am glad you had a good day yesterday! YAYYYYYYYYY!
-
No Kadie, you shouldn't be concerned as long as you feel alright....other than normal pregancy ills.
-
Kadie sweetie, your hormones are on a rollercoaster ride for the next so many weeks / months and even (especially!) post natal too.
Do not worry however - it's all perfectly normal and one goes through a strange but beautiful time. Enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can and set some quiet time away just for you and your growing baby. It's a precious time. [:)]

Eh? Where am I? How did I get to this thread?
Yeah, this is definetly a girls only thread... Bye.
-
ok. it's just weird that some days i feel totally... pregnant but some days i feel normal. i was just getting worried that something might be wrong and my doctor's appointment isn't until the sixth
-
I don't think you should worry! Once you get over the first few weeks, and before you get big you will probably feel fine with few symptoms. Mind you, worrying that all is not well is a major problem with pregnancy!! I should know, I have 6 children!!
-
I never feel pregnant.

I never feel pregnant.
How would you know if you have never had anything to compare it to?
-
six?! that's a lot. my grandma had six. i think i'll see how this one goes...
-
Thats a good idea! LOL!
-
today i'm convinced the baby wants to kill me
-
Not feeling so good eh? I am sorry. What is happening?
-
i'm hungry but i can't eat or i throw up. i can eat crackers. i'm sure those are well balanced and have all the nutrients required to feed the baby *polls eyes*
-
i mean rolls
-
LOL LOL.. yes Rolls eyes! What are you craving! try to avoid liquid with your food ok! sometimes that activates the acid .. a few crackers let them settle as an absorber, then eat a little bit of something you are craving..
-
the only real craving craving has been for salt. anything salty. i was tempted the other day just to stick my finger in the salt shaker and lick salt off of my finger. which is so weird. i usually really don't like salty stuff
-
oh and mexican food

OK Salt is a normal craving thats what was in the ice cream broccoli smothered in margerine or butter.. It was the salt the doctor said it would not hurt to eat it. It helped with my food intake .. made me feel better. Mexican food.. Yummm. Then eat some mexican food.. or make some... just order what you want eat a couple bites take the rest home. wait till later when you know your tummy handled it then when you are hungry do the cracker thing first then 15 minutes try a few bites of your yummy stuff. not too much.. just get something in there!

Have heard that strong chilli before delivery could make the labour more painful - but you are still a long way from worrying about that.
-
well that's strange. i wonder why.
-
actually any food before labor makes labor icky, because when you begin transition it causes you to puke like crazy! Any food! If you are having labor pains, don't eat that simple... It is horrible trying to deliver being in pain having contractions while your tummy is making you puke back up what you ate! I did it... it is horrid!
-
so why can you have ice chips but not water. ice melts... then it is water
-
Just that they melt slower less water in your system at one time less chance of puking!,, and it helps..

What really helped me throughout my pregnancy (one only I'm afraid. One was enough LOL) in regards to digestive complaints, cravings etc. was fennel tea.
You might not really like the smell or taste of it (try adding a bit of honey) but it really helps with all sorts of digestive issues.
-
hmmm. i'm not gonna lie... i really don't like tea. but i suppose i'll keep an eye out for it at the store
