Packed column to megabore capillary conversion
« on: 03/07/2008 12:21:36 »
Hi all, I came across this forum purely by chance the other day and decided it would be interesting to sign up.
Anyway, I thought I'd ask if anyone out there has fitted a capillary injector to a Pekin Elmer Autosystem GC and if so what - if anything - did you do about make up gas since there doesn't seem to be any plumbing for it?

Packed column to megabore capillary conversion

This is a rather specific technical question and it is not clearly understandable to people who are not familiar with the technology you are talking about.  I presume that the question involves techniques for gas chromatography (A subject about which my knowledge is very limited).  Are there any people experienced with this technology out there?
