Theory on the structure of human life, and regulated intellect in species.

Greetings... My name is Nicholas Richards, or Nick, for short. I am from Exeter in England, UK.
I have been thinking a lot recently about how Human intelligence, or intelligence in any species, would be managed by evolution.
I believe a completely free willed species could never actually exist. Therefore, intelligence in a way must have some sort of structure behind it that keeps it from becoming a hindrance to itself through the affect it has on the development of a species, and its exponential growth with that intelligence.
I know it has been theorised in the past that free will is not in fact free will, and decisions are influenced by predisposition caused by experience and many other variables. I am a firm believer of this. However, I have been thinking about how this affects our species, and possibly other species, as a whole, and how the structure of human life and thinking is actually a biproduct of this, and potentially keeps us managed, regardless of our intelligence and ability to make decisions. By structure, I mean the need for different countries, cultures, beliefs, different qualities of life, mental health, a monetary system, jobs, entertainment and many other aspects of Human life that we all take part in and see and hear about everyday.
My theory poses the question that these structures are actually a way of limiting the amount of intelligence, and full potential, the Human species uses as a whole. I guess the ultimate goal of this would be to ensure Humans do not progress at a rapid rate that would have too much impact on its own survival, and the survival of ecosystems around it. This would still happen in a trial and error system, with different aspects of intelligence being compensated for as they develop, and become either a detriment to survival, or a promotion to it.
These are only a few of many ideas, and only parts of it, and I will add more context and depth in future posts.
Entertainment is interesting aspect of Humanity. We have the intelligence to feel emotion about different aspects of life, and therefore we find things enjoyable. You could argue that anyone carrying out a hobby, is not utilising their full ability as a Human, in a species wide developmental sense anyway, there is no doubt hobbies feed other Human needs, and these are not being disregarded by me, I am just adding another angle on why we may carry out these life rituals.
If you look at the need for social attention in modern Humans, a lot of it is nonsensical, yet it exists. You can post pictures to Instagram, Facebook and other forms of media, to other platforms in the blink of an eye, but what does this achieve for Humans as a species? It is likely to be feeding some development in the social needs of Humans, but is this also a way of keeping a lot of Humanity occupied, so that progress from an entire species point of view is slower?
Religion also could fall into the category of a Human thought process that has developed to limit our development through intelligence. The need to believe in a higher being that has full supreme executive power over everything that exists, despite logic and evidence seemingly making it and old way of thinking in the modern day, seems like it would have to have another reason for existing if it continued to persist to exist. It is, to this day, still very prominent in Humanity, regardless of the challenges from the scientific community. If you looked at it from the point of view that it was limiting the amount of Humanity that used their full intellectual potential, this could actually answer the question. I would also throw conspiracy theorists into the same category as well, as it is still a society that proclaims there is an invisible puppet master pulling the strings, I believe it has just manifested itself in a slightly different way.
Why do jobs exist in Humanity? Why is it that an intelligent Human, one that has the ability to work anything out if it puts its mind to it, spends most of its day carrying out a ritual just to manage itself and stay afloat? I believe that this a yet another way of intelligence being regulated. If a person has the need to go to work, earn money and manage their self, and their family in cases, through doing this they are not likely to be using their full potential as a Human. In fact, a lot of the time they are stagnating, if you look at it from the view of how much intellect and potential that person is utilising. They may be part of a structure that has led to development and advances in technology and other fields, and there is no doubt you need numbers to accomplish some of the feats Humanity has, but it is only at the top end of these jobs that this occurs, which again, seems to suggest that only a small amount of progression is allowed from a humongous structure.
Now in terms of countries, I believe there may be a structure based on sheer numbers that keeps our development through intelligence stifled, which encompasses all of the other categories I have mentioned, and many more variables, which are too many for a forum thread. A summary would be, if each country is partitioned into different qualities of life, different qualities in mental health, different cultures and beliefs, and incorporate all of the other regulatory systems for intelligence I have suggested, and all of these lead to experiences and other life encounters that influence choice through unconscious predisposition, then intelligence, it would seem, is very controlled.
I'm not saying this theory disregards or annuls other theories that are out there. I believe the aspect of regulated intelligence could just be one cog in the machine so to speak. I think it would fit in alongside a lot of other reasons for doing the things we do on a daily basis, whether they be limiting or progressive.
Any criticism, constructive or otherwise, is welcome. There will be more to come on this from me.

I may just keep updating with any thought I have on here actually, at least then it is a constant publishing of any connection I make in my head.
Another angle I have been thinking of is that in order for Humans to be a species that is still held within the constraints of nature, and not a truly free species, as we like to think we are with our intelligence, is that there would have to be a certain amount of ignorance built into our survival traits. This could be ignorance through ambition, for example. There is no doubt in my mind that the majority of Humans on the planet think that we are free to do as we please, and that we are in control. It almost seems that the ability to save ourselves from anything is within our grasp. In my opinion, it makes sense for us to have this opinion, if we are to be kept in naturally occurring cycles, for instance.
If you look at the damage we do to our planet, and the potential need for us to stop what we are doing, think, and act on it in a quick and efficient way. It seems very unlikely that will happen due to this belief we have that we can think around it. However, this ability to think around anything, as well as being dictated by our belief we are in some sort of control, is also being governed by the sheer numbers of Humans, and the structures in place. Even if a part of the planet is saying they believe we need to stop what we are doing, and there is a large amount of evidence to support this, as there is, we still do not have the ability to act on it as difference of opinion is there through the structure that is in place in our species.
A hierarchy system dictates that only a small amount of people with have the final decision. Meaning, regardless of the intelligence and evidence in an idea or need, the likelihood of that occurring is again seriously diminished. Evidence and rational thinking are not always enough, despite our ability to think.
It is the same if you factor in different cultures and belief systems. A consensus need to follow a pattern of life that is beneficial to us is almost impossible to obtain because of this diversity. You could also argue that any other form of idea would have the same difficulties in becoming prominent, it could also be applied to any discovery we make as a species, or physical progression in terms of technology. The structures deem that these will not be used or accepted in every part of Humanity, and maybe not even come to fruition at all, if you consider theories are ideas.
These are more reasons why I believe evolution is compensating for Human intelligence, as it is a potential detriment to the survival of many aspects of any form of life on this planet. Human intelligence is in fact annulled, on many levels by structure, and I will continue to try and share as many examples of this as possible.
I think intelligence development and regulation is also a two way system, as obviously you need the ability to coordinate and cognitively think to manage some of these systems as a species.
If you think of intelligence as being adapted to in the same way as any other aspect of life by evolution, for example, a bird does not adapt as a whole, but say an extra feather to help it turn quicker to evade a predator, a piece by piece adaptation, then any adaptation to compensate for us as a species in intelligence could also be a door for further progression. For example, if the ability to coordinate a hierarchal structure comes into play to allow us to create a structure that occupies us to limit our use of intellect, then this may lead to the ability to coordinate in other ways, which may then lead to progression in other departments as well. Compensations only happen after a negative impact on survival occurs, or something that promotes survival comes into fruition, so you could argue the frontline of our intelligence, or the most progressed part of it to name it, is still progressing and incurring regulation, to this day.
Just some early morning, in bed doing nothing, thoughts.

The human brain has two centers of consciousness. One center is the ego, which is the center for the conscious mind. The ego is who we know we are, in intimate detail. The ego proper may not be shown to everyone, but is often limited to those who are very close. The spouse will see and know the little boy or girl and its dreams. Others will only see the persona or the mask of the ego. This social mask is how we face the world, often to protect the ego. Western culture will offer ways to fortify the ego with prestige and materialism; extended mask. The female will spend a lot of time on her mask which is both makeup and clothing. Ego solidification is important.
The other center is the inner self, which is the center of the unconscious mind. The inner self is much older and is connected to our natural instinct. The inner self evolved over time defines our collective human propensities. Estimates are the ego can use 10-20% of the brain, while the inner self can use 100%, unless sharing resources with the ego.
One way to see the difference in resource usage, between the ego and inner self, is within the simple task of walking across the street. Typically all this takes is for the ego to think a command line, " walk across the street". The inner self is then responsible with all the data processing needed to coordinate all the muscles needed to make this possible.
The ego will often accept full credit for walking, but this is irrational, since all one needs to do to disprove this ego claim, is to ask the ego to walk by only consciously and willfully fixating on each muscle, That type of walk will be very rigid and robotic, and lack the natural gate of the inner self. The difference is connected to the inner self using the main frame parts of the brain, which has far more resources to get this right, through a layered control system.
The inner self is common to all animals and is connected to their DNA. It is the center of consciousness for the DNA. The DNA and inner self define the natural operating system of the brain, which defines human nature; humans as a species. The inner self of the dog defines the canine propensities. The ego, which came much later, and is only common to humans, is more of an emergent property of the brain.
The ego was like the moon that split from the earth. On the one hand, it moves to the beat of its own drum. However, it is still connected to the earth and inner self, via gravity, which places natural limits on its orbit. The ancient concept, of loss of soul, is when the inner self lowers the resource access, to the emergent ego, so the conscious mind is weakened. This allows the inner self more room for correction. If lack of soul was permanent, the ego self, would lack the means to survive for very long on its own. The inner self might try another emergent replacement; born again. This ego may be more cooperative.
As far as the inner self limiting intellect, this is less an artifact of control, as it is an artifact of the inner self using a more powerful logic and computational system to analyze the environment. If the ego falls short, there is a potential and this can led to a needed correction.
Logic is 2-D, which is an advanced form of intellect. Logic is based on cause and affect, where cause and affect are like the (x,y) axis of a grid. Logic, itself, is a plot on this 2-D mind space.
The inner self uses 3-D and 4-D thinking which is far more powerful and efficient. If the ego cannot keep up, even if it feels arrogant in self righteousness, the inner has the authority to think for the ego, so it can see 3-D thought processing results; gut feelings. The ego may still use will power to repress this. Walking requires a spatially integrated coordination of muscles that interacts with the environment past, present and future; propagates in time. If we, the ego, try to do this piece meal; cause and effect for each step, this is not quite the same. The inner self will override and walk for us, to avoid an ego dumb down. The ego should feel happy and not threatened with extinction.
Logic or 2-D thinking is based on cause and affect. Spatial thinking or 3-D thinking is (cause, affect, cause) or (affect, cause and affect). This type of thinking is not stuck within a real time differentiation of cause and affect, but anticipates others affects that can lead to the current cause and affect, as well as secondary causes that might result from the cause and affect. There may be a feedback loop. These all need to be based on natural laws, averaged into the DNA, that remain in affect, even if the ego tries to robot walk and call this the new state of the art.
For example, science which is considered one of the top uses of the ego intellect, still cannot agree of a single set of theories that will never change. Instead, the state of the art, today, is not the same as yesterday, which itself will change tomorrow, since it is only consistent with limited causality. New data always changes this, since this new data of extended cause and affect, cannot be anticipated in time, by the theory. The inner self better see this and has to protect itself and the body from the short sight of the ego. It will set up barriers to the ego, so it can up its game and keep up with the inner self.
Just as the ego has the persona and mask of the ego, the inner self has archetypes which are like the animated masks of the inner self. These are based on firmware, that is a mixture of chemistry and physical-chemical principals with attached neural software based on pathways that best lower the chemical potentials.
The ancient projected this connection between the inner self and ego as that between the gods; inner self and archetypes and the humans; ego and persona. The gods had superhuman capacities; larger resource allocation, which the ego gets to share, periodically, when the gods hear your appeal and cooperate. Again, 3-D and 4-D thinking anticipated things that may not make sense to the ego and 2-D thought It takes a receptive ego mind with humility, to the lower ego potentiate and open the channel to inner self correction.
For example, one inner self correction, I experience is a simple correction for all of physics that can simplify its theory by an order of magnitude. The current theory is more like robot walk and is not very efficient. However the ego is fragile and fears loss of soul.
The simple correction is to assume that the speed of light reference is the zero or ground state of the universe. This is inferred from the particle state of matter which shows that matter and anti-matter only appears at the upper limits of energy. This place matter, with inertial references, at highest potential, with all the photons, which travel at the speed of light, ay lower potential.
We currently use the earth reference to define the universe. Using the earth reference, as the center of observation, although convenient, requires a relative reference assumption. This creates a universal energy balance problem, since it assumes no preferred reference. At least one preferred is required to create a single universal energy balance. The speed of light, by being the same in all inertial references, implies there is one in the same fixed reference, for any and all relative references; all roads lead here.
The ego is fragile and often sees any correction to its will and choices as hostile to the energy balance of the ego. This threat could lead to a loss of soul. Nobody, with higher prestige, won over years of striving, wishes to start again and lower their prestige to a student. Most would prefer maintain the ego, unless the progress can also help the ego gain its soul back. The inner self has its hands full when correcting the ego, even in science.
