Title: Cyclical Gravity Liquid Ball Energy Generator
Post by: in on 29/09/2006 16:32:49
Hi i have a new invention that I want to do energy generation.
The idea is based on having a liquid chamber, and a air chamber. A ball will go down the air chamber generating electric then it can rise up the liquid chamber so can then follow a cyclical pattern. A submarine chamber is used to shift the ball from the air to liquid chamber. Without flooding the air chamber. A weight system is used to prevent liquid entering the submarine chamber at each cycle. It uses a weight system to take allow liquid to be moved from the submarine chamber back into the liquid chamber.
The weight system is an essential feature of the device. When the ball goes into the submarine chamber. Then the submarine chamber is closed to the air chamber. Then the submarine chamber is opened to the liquid chamber. Liquid then goes into the submarine chamber from the liquid chamber. The ball will be shifted up out of the submarine chamber and into the liquid chamber. Liquid should enter the submarine chamber. Yet the dropping of the weight or dropper will fill up the volume of the submarine chamber so meaning liquid does not fill up the submarine chamber. The size of the weight can vary. The purpose of the weight is to reduce the amount of liquid remaining in the submarine chamber, when the submarine chamber is closed to the liquid chamber.
So meaning that the liquid chamber does not have to be continually re-supplied with liquid, and that the device can be self sufficient. The submarine chamber closes to the liquid chamber and the weight or dropper is then shifted back to the storage point so that there is room for the ball to enter the submarine chamber again. It does cost energy to lift or shift the weight but this is outweighed by the energy generation benefit in the falling and rising of the ball.
It is possible that remaining liquid in the submarine chamber can be pumped back into the submarine chamber making the device self sufficient in liquid. It is possible that the remaining liquid will be allowed to flow away so that there will still be a requirement for replacement source of liquid lost at each cycle. It will cost energy to close and open the submarine chamber door system.
I have 2 drawn figures with an annotated description. If you think this idea has potential. Do you think it can be improved.

Your design is similar to the device shown here:-

Is it similar to this?

Sorry - Robert got there before me.

Tnaks for being polite. But i don't think this is the same idea. My idea does not use magentic stuff. I thnk there is a such a thing as a free lunch.
I dno really see much similarity between the two ideas. As my idea is more simple. Can anyone see this idea as having potential. The ball is lighter than liquid but heavir than air.
