The scientific principals, mathematics and mechanical construction techniques are being developed and tested there. Wireless power needs a source of power. I suggest you look for power stations around the world that have a similar structure connected to them, if you want to see the real action. Remember the goal of wireless power is to ship electrons not molecules. As for not hiring people, the technical world is no longer tech giants. It is the world of partners, consultants, and farming out projects. Global wireless power is already reality.
