I have used both at different times in my life I prefer the power but the surface area covered is way smaller. So I use a regular brush and just do a thorough job!

Just wonder.

Hey Ryan do you use a soft medium or hard bristled brush? Do they make variations in stiffness on the new power brushes? When I was using the old power brush for my teeth they only came with one , soft bristled and they were really small brushes. Is that still the same or can you choose brushes with full sized heads and soft medium or hard bristles?

I use hard I'm pretty sure. The only thing is they are soft now because I used it a lot. If you wanna, Look up Crest Spin Brush Pro Whitening. Its what I use.

LOL are you OK Ryan??

I have seen those brushes.. hard brushes are not good for your teeth and gums, you should probably use med. to soft if hard brush heat with warm water first to soften the bristles as it allows the bristles to get up under your gums and between your teeth better helping prevent gingivitis

LOL thats funny.. I actually like them but don't use them!

I think Your momies right LOL LOL!

note from my uncle: he once told me to make sure to replace a soft bristled brush once a month not every 3 months or as soon as you notice the sides start to fray

Yep! I have heard that also from my dentist!

I have always used a hard brush.. You know that icky feeling after you eat , you run your tongue across the front of your teeth and it feels grungy. I hate that! LOL And when I use a soft bristled brush I still feel as though my teeth are not clean and smooth like they should be so I hate soft brushes but my dentist said I want you tp use a medium brush. she would prefer me use soft but I compromised with her but I cheat cause I still use my hard brush also. LOL medium in the morning and hard after meals and medium before bed for the plaque! LOL

I know what you mean! So I brush about 5 times a day unless I don't eat three meals then just after food before bed and upon waking..

There should be a third choice - neither. I use a denture cleanser when they come out at night and if something absolutely refuses to come off, then it is a veggi brush from the kitchen.
