What would happen if we put in a room a humidifier and a dehumidifier (same power characteristics), turned them on and close the door?

It might be quicker and cheaper to pour the water directly from the humidifier container directly into the dehumidifier container.

You probably would have a flow of humid air from the first to the second, while the room's intrinsic humidity stays the same (if the humidificator and de-h. have the same exact efficiency).

Sooner or later the humidifier is out of water.
