Can anyone here recommend business search engines, and business freeware?
-
I'm not sure what you mean by business search engines. Search engines that only return company websites?
I know lots of sites that offer excellent freeware. What exactly are you after?

Networking/Connections Charts.
Marketing Metrics.
Marketing Plans.
And company websites.
-
What OS are you running?
There are a lot of networking utilities here (http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/)
Do you want marketing metrics for an e-commerce site? If so, I could point you at lots.

XP and Fedora 9. Looking at trying Ubuntu or Kubuntu, and Slackware.

If you let me know what you wnt and what it will be used for, I can probably find some stuff for you. There is a hell of a lot of Linux freeware out there.

Networking Charting Programs?
-
Do you mean for computer network activity?
Something like this? (http://www.filetransit.com/view.php?id=11515)

Actually, networking with business people, ranking them in importance, targeting people, future ideal network outlook, tie strength, things in common, thing unalike but they have important skills.
Unalike and unimportant...
Friends, no skills...
Going somewhere...

The above looks very good.

There's lots of software that handles contacts and the like. I'm not sure about having charts with it, though.
