Red apples are no match for the Red Planet. Next time try an other variety of apples (e.g. green apples like Granny Smith) or try an other planet.

Good idea Eric,
Bentherdonthat, next time take more than one variety off apple and lets us know what happens. Does this effect only happen with apples? have you tried other fruit?

Well, he's certainly not on plannet Earth.
Incidentally the cold dry thin atmosphere on Mars would freeze-dry fruit quite well. Putting them in a cool dark shed is cheaper.

That is not the only question I had.
Why on Mars after eating potatos would the starch ouz out of my skin like a white milk starch against my space suit?
Why on Mars after laying a orange on the surface or any other food would it pick up a rotten taste like Mars mold almost like tasting the whole rotten planet?
Why would onions deform from round to squash?

I am assuming this was in jest - as I somehow doubt the reality of your having visited Mars, or having ever had any fruit on the planet.
well this is the reason: I was involve in the very making of space exploration before Nasa had its name and with a few other volunteers did many space exploration ventures beyound your imagination.
Due to we who new the president geneticly well we put the burden of wieght back on the toads back a very slow hard strugle we made a suggestion with star city the Russians like the idea and put the burden on there back as well in a turtle competion.
we are not going to promote these creature president governments into the heavens at the cost of our lives for some filth that crawld off of sewage.
so me and some independents including a few Russian have done intersteller travel.
