Now that glass is being used as a medium in 3d printing, it seems the door's been thrown open on all manner of in innovations.

I would like to make a copy of the Portland vase

Yeah, that would be an interesting challenge for the 3d printer. The Portland Vase is celebrated enough that I imagine someone will try it.
