Title: How come I don't get sunburnt and other people do?

After the winter I am whiter then white. I can go outside and purposly tan, do w.e out in the sun without suntan lotion and I will get a little red and the next day I got a tan. While other people that are also whiter then white go out with suntan lotion and end up getting so burnt that it hurts and they are redder then red and they start peeling 4 to 5 days later and keep pealing for 2 to 3. I have never got a sunburn in my whole life that hurt to touch and/or pealed. Why is that? All of the people in my family get it to were it hurts to touch, but never really pealing.

Humm Thats cool no peeling! YAYYYYYYY!  I don't know if it has something to do with your skin pigmentation or not! Good question!

But how is it the pigmenation when i am white ha nd they are white

I don't know for sure... But my assumption is that you have something a bit different in your pigmentation then they do... LOL Probably someone else in your line also tan like you!! Who knows.. but maybe someone with more knowledge can explain in more scientific detail then me... thats for sure.. their may be a lot more to it!

Another question. Is it possible to peal twice, as in like after one burn? Because one of my friends is. thanks
