Title: Can anyone think of famous people that were openly gay before the 1980s?

With the exception of Clay Shaw, Harvey Milk, Truman Capote, Alan Turing and James Baldwin, who are some pre-1980 celebrities who were openly homosexual? Even the most flamboyant homosexuals such as Paul Lynde, Charles Nelson Reilly, Noel Coward and Liberace publicly denied it.

Would the OP mind if i raise another subject which i feel is very slightly similar to the Topic?

Ps - i do Not wish to create a new dead OP, coz I'm pretty sure no one would be interested in responding to it except for the OP in here.
