Thank ewe for your contribution.

What's the very advanced compact microwave looking thing on the floor to the right ?  looks serious !

I just got rid of my desk, because I sit far back and compute now. But it is getting out of hand again.

My little bit of chaos.

Sincerely,

William McCormick

It is a four channel oscilloscope. You can monitor four different sources of electricity at the same time. It was very smartly priced too around $400 from Test Equipment. There is a hack for it to raise its abilities, increase its memory and turn on more advanced functions. For what I use it for though i did not even bother. The probes are high in quality and thought out well. Every bit as useful as my older Tektronix probes.

They are fun though, they let you see what is happening in that quiet little wire, apparently not doing anything exciting. Safer because you are usually dealing with a probe that is connected to the scope through 10,000,000 ohms. Many of the accidental short circuits and blown equipment can be avoided by using an oscilloscope and the shielded probe, rather than a multi-meter and standard test lead. There are a lot of accidents that can occur with the ground clamp though, it is tied to the earth ground in the outlet it is plugged into. In the defense plants they would cut the earth ground off the 110 volt power chord, of the scope to avoid the scope ground from shorting out.

It gives a graphical representation of the the voltage that is often moving above and then below neutral or earth ground many times a second. The grids horizontally measure time increments that you can set to give you a better view. The grids vertically measure, voltage and are user adjustable to allow the user to better see what is happening in that wire.

Sincerely,

William McCormick

Some of these advanced prototype microwave weapons were tested on dry land, causing the ground water to boil and explode with almost unbelievable destruction.

10 KW would no doubt take out any human intruder quickly. Electronic disruption may require quite a bit less. Ionization of missiles may require quite a bit more.

I was told by someone that built microwave prototype weapons that helium was used, basically put through a flow valve in a quantity, to just maintain its presence in the aluminum horn, as it expanded and heated, in the microwave horn. To achieve much greater results from the same input power. That might be the weapon you are looking for.

Some of this fellows prototypes were capable of boiling the water off of a submarine. Which is usually the end for the submarine.

Sincerely,

William McCormick
