Paul asks:

How faulty is the facial recognition software by the London Metropolitan Police? Are the Chinese systems any more accurate?

What do you think?

It's not how faulty the police facial recognition system is, it's how faulty the police are recognising known software accuracy deficiencies as users.
* Most of Britains people have severe visual deficiencies as a disability whether the UK or colonies, a large percentage of these populations require compulsory use of prescription specs.
I'd be asking by this if it weren't better the facial recognition software can spot spectacle brand and model perfectly THEN assess what little else it can do for matching what's left of a face !

My opinion is that China has already worked out this technology 100%! And now it will be implemented all over the world. British systems work just as well as they do in China.

Accuracy is of no importance in a totalitarian state. Nor is the truth.
