Title: What is light? Proposed theory.
Post by: Iam on 02/11/2011 23:18:22
The universe is made up of a symmetry of ‘liquid magnets’ (convenient term for discussion) that fills even what we call outer space and all space itself; it is the fabric of the universe.  Light (light wave frequencies) is only what our mind perceives light is.  Light is constant in a vacuum because the magnetic properties (states) of ‘liquid magnets’ that can be changed by frequency are constant in a vacuum.

You can read how it is explained here.

Iam, please don't use this forum to advertise your own theories, especially if you're just copying content from other places on the web or linking to another site that has your theory.

Iam, please don't use this forum to advertise your own theories, especially if you're just copying content from other places on the web or linking to another site that has your theory.

Got a new theory on something? Post your hypotheses here... <---- That is the topic of this forum.  Hence, I posted my hypotheses.

1# Are you saying that if I publish or discuss my hypothesis anywhere else I can't present it here?  Example - if I came up with e=mc and placed it elsewhere I would have to type e=mc how on this forum?

2# As for the link it was to share additional information in this forum.  If it is perceived as spam or I was suppose to type all pertinent info here only.  What happens when I reference other sites backing up the hypothesis?  Do I copy all their info and not reference back to them?  That is perplexing as it can violate their copyrights and is kind of rude, plus it violates your first statement that I don't present something from other sites.

#3 - are you saying don't discuss my personal theories here like the topic header states?  Who's theories should I present then?

Thank you for your input I will message admin for clarification.

I should have probably been clearer.  When I said "advertise" I meant in the sense in our Acceptable Usage Policy (see point 5):
http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=8535.0

In particular, you shouldn't be posting material here that you've posted elsewhere, and you shouldn't just post a link to another site with that information.  If you want to type up a new account of your theory for discussion, that's perfectly acceptable.

Hi Iam,

It will make it easier to discuss your theory if you quote the relevant parts here, referring back to the original site as the source of the quotes.  Just putting a link drives people away from the forum, and will stifle discussion here.

(I apologise in advance if you're familiar with BBcode, but just in case you're not...) There's an "insert quote" button in the controls when you post a reply, alternatively just start a quote with (quote) and end with (/quote) - changing the brackets to square ones.  This clearly lays out what aspects are quotes from elsewhere, yet gives people here some content to discuss.

Hope this helps.

Hi JP,

thank you for some clarification.  I did get a response back from the admin of the site and the admin clarified somethings too.  So, now that I have a better understanding of the guidelines I will work on how to present it on this forum for discussion.

BenV - thanks for the tips.  Duly noted.

Also, the purpose of discussing this theory is so that I can learn more.  I teach so that I may learn is my motto.  So, even if my understandings are correct or incorrect - I am always moving to improving and correcting my understandings.   This eliminates me following my own understandings blindly.  On a personal note I do not follow any person of authority, real or perceived, blindly; hence, I will ask questions for clarification when needed.   [;D]

To begin discussing this conclusion I've come to I first must present this -

To better understand the universe one has to understand how the mind perceives the universe.  If you ever listened to a Holophonics sound recording you would see how the mind extracts lots of information to give you the perception of 3d sound, but step back and imagine that the mind also extracts lots of information to give you the perception of sound itself.

You can easily do a search of Holophonics - a good example is recording entitled Zuccarelli Holophonics (The Matchbox Shaker)

So understanding that perception is created by the mind one can imagine that the minds own perception process can interfere with man's ability to discover what light, gravity and many things in the universe are.

Now taking that into account - what is the simplest forms of understanding -

- positive and negative
- various states of matter
- and so on

(trying to keep this short and simple)

If the mind uses frequency to perceive all things (sound, touch, light etc) - example a bat uses sonar aka frequency send signals to bounce and map the bat's surrounding so that it can fly at extreme speeds and catch bugs to fill its stomach.

The mind perceives frequency as sound at lower frequencies because of its characteristics that differ slightly from frequencies that are higher like light.   One can say that the characteristics of how frequency reacts at various cycles, higher or lower, determines how the receptors work and how the mind perceives them.  Yes, there can be many variation of both receptors and perception of the received signals, but we are talking how does man receives various signals from frequency and how man perceives those signals in man's mind.

So, in theory - would man's mind remove the transmitter of the frequency from its perception and only perceive the frequency transported across the transmitter?  Hence, if it does and that is a very reasonable assumption especially if you understand how the mind works - then you can imagine that there is a lot of theories out there of the blind leading the blind and people are literally blind to seeing how to even begin to approach understanding of the universe.  I'm simply stating that if one understands how the mind perceives all things then one has a much better chance of understanding all things a.k.a gravity, light, etc..

Higher frequencies means faster change of states, which could translate to - the higher the frequency the clearer the picture the mind can perceive of its surroundings.  Example - radar, low frequencies, give you an idea of things around you - basic borders, but higher frequencies give you more information...more detail.

I'm going to leave it at that for now and let anyone who reads this ponder on it.

Thanks,
Iam

I'll work on clarifying it some more.

Let me shorten the above understandings - One's mind and body are tools to serve one, hence, one should learn how they work and take care of them so they can serve one well.  [:)]

There's a new way to look at the way the senses are being treated by the brain. It's a synergestic one in where the brain actually use all senses, more or less, to create an impression of what we see, taste etc. It's been validated by a lot of experiments, and shows that our brains plasticity might possibly be 'endless', if we just find the right combinations.

That's also why some can drive by their pants :)

As for the sensorial input we treat, like colours, they seem in some way to be genetically defined, the same with faces. The brain seems able to use what we experience and rearrange it into a order, that as you say, is a internal process as what we experience isn't what we 'see', only our brains interpretation of it. It's a interesting subject.

But as it has a relevance to what we percieve, even if 'translated' I think we can use it as we do.

yor_on - I am very aware of that and have studied how the mind works out of necessity as I used to suffer from some serious health issues.  So having a reference point of what reality was back then unbalanced and now - I can assure from personal experience the brain is - how you say - wicked at coming up with what is perceived.

Hence, that is why now that I am balanced - I thought I would look at what light is, but acknowledging that light is what our minds perceives it to be.   I will be back on this subject next week as I want to put some more thought into it.

Thanks for the response yor_on
