There is of course battery university, which says than lithium ion cannot be charged below 0C unless it is a specific chemistry, but I imagine that would lower the capacity, as all the various lithium chemistries seem to, so I doubt anything claiming high distance/power would be, such as the current set of wheeled crematoriums . Lots more on here about batteries on all types, far more than I understand but it's where I go to.

Relevance / Background:   Like a lot of people, I'm thinking of getting an EV (Electric Vehicle) soon.   How many (British) winters will the batteries last?   Have we had EV's for enough years to know how well they last?  Also, how much range for the vehicle will usually be lost on the cold days?

I'm waiting for sodium ion, they have none of these problems, should be far cheaper too. As for the cold weather performance dealers I have spoken to in a non customer situation tell me in winter they expect half the advertised mileage at present from evs but thats not a problem really for most in the UK. I suppose all of that hard accelleration and braking doesn't help.

It does more than damage paul, the A rabs are well known for celebratory gunfire and thus deaths.

 Not sure of the maximum velocity, ak47 bullets, like all warfare rifles are metal jacket points to conform to the Geneva convention so you would need to find it's resistance.

It must be useful there and then, nuclear physics just isn't going to be worthwhile. Depending on the constraints, material properties, material extraction and material production. If that's one as Materials Science then medicine and agriculture. Depends really whether you take this science as common knowledge.

If you think logically 2x0 is a non function, this sort of sum can cause all sorts of problems.  Even though the sum above does infact give the answer of zero it is not arrived at in the conventional sense of 2x0, that is 2x0=0, it is a non function that gives an answer of zero through its non function status. Zero being zero is neither positive nor negative. Therefore a non functon zero from 0^0 must be true.

If temperature is a measure of movement over time it creates a problem. If you take an instant, a photographic moment that is impossible to have, all matter would essentially be not moving and therefore absolute zero, coversley any measure over time is open to infinity.

From what little I know, Lager is cold brewed, with most of the fermentation going on at the bottom of the batch. Ale is the other way around: warmer and top fermenting.

Yep, the different yeast ES hypothesised, i think that is the biggest difference in the brewers world, followed closley by wheat beer.

Ale is apparently hopless, as in without hops.

I just wish the cookies think would, in the most harsh terms, piss off. The amount of time i spend clicking on cookies buttons is horriffic.  As far as i am concerned the internet is outside the house. Any advertising, any danger, scams, pornography, violence, weapons, social media should be there and if i dont want it i dont go on the sites,  like twitter.

I regularly search for "naked" when i am trying to find  this site in my browser history,  but it usually brings up a film with Marlon Waynes. I havnt got big boy internet so anything with the word gun knife etc is filtered automatically. It can get annoying though.

Cats tend to be cleaner than dogs.

Depends on your definition of clean. They certainly spend more time licking themselves, and in more places, than dogs, but anyone allergic to cat saliva (and a surprisingly large number of people are) wouldn't agree with the proposition.

I have never seen a cat drag its anus across the parlour carpet alan.
