I think this has a bearing on keeping your driving license if you are using for medical purposes (it does in UK anyway).
Hope it helps.
My understanding is that, because of marijuana's legal status in the UK, that the admins behind this site don't like much conversation about it, beyond "strictly scientific" discourse.
Having spent some time in Colorado recently, I may be able to offer some recommendations and caveats by pm.
I heard about using oil from a friend who cured himself of liver cancer. He has to periodically re-treat himself to stop the tumor from returning,
I also did not say that it cured cancer. 1.To be clear, medical grade pure marijuana oil cured my friend of a life threatening cancerous tumor in his liver where he had been given 6 months to live. 2.It cured him because the tumor disappeared completely after being treated with medical grade oil. 3.However, another tumor formed and my friend has to periodically treat himself to keep himself tumor free. 4.The same applied for my dog.
I am not against using marijuana where there is solid scientific evidence that it helps, and if it can be given in controlled doses that are in the proven-safe range.

This is the first I've heard of timey's stoned dog but she does have a way with horses so her advice on cannabis oil may be well founded in veterinary physiology.
I'm allergic to marijuana.
Marijuana can send the wrong person into a state of drug induced psychosis.
So in my own experience of being severely ill, I made the decision to try the edibles, but only after struggling several years with no hope of pain relief in sight, even with all the pain medications I was on.

While I'm so sorry to hear of your health problems, in a weird way, its kind of nice to know that someone here actually knows what its like to live with never ending severe pain. I've had it for twelve years now. Lately its been much better so I don't need opiates any longer. However there are times I wish I had a big honking oxycodone for my sciatica.
