Do you know some good word games, multiple repetitions, or palindromes?

to begin......

Student 1 and student 2 were discussing the use of either had, or had had in an exam. Student 2, where student 1 had had had had had had had. Had had had had the better result.

There are 3 ways to spell "to" in the English language.

It's true when you say it but a lie when you try to write it.

Is this the pub name?

Yes.

The landlord of The Fox and Goose had a new sign made but he wasn't happy with the lettering. He said to the signwriter "The gaps between Fox and and and and and Goose need to be bigger"

Sorry, I think I was being a dunce - "It's true when you say it but a lie when you try to write it." would be the game, not a comment about "to", yes?

What 8 letter word contains the first 6 letters of the alphabet?

Would that be "feedback" or "boldface"?

You had it right. When you say "There are 3 ways to spell to" you are telling the truth. But when you try to write it, however you spell it, it is false.

Name a fifteen letter word containing fifteen different letters.

Uncopyrightable

You could also check out misconjugatedly, dermatoglyphics or subdermatoglyphic.

Words with no letters repeated are called isograms.

Construct a valid sentence with "and" 5 times consecutively.

The difference between left "and" right, up "and" down, backwards "and" forwards, "and" side to side are, "and" always will be, 5 times consecutively opposite! You didnt say it had to make sence!

Hows that?

Or

He said "And" 5 times consecutively.

I gather there was a newspaper story about the pub sign and the debate with 5 consecutive ands ie
"The gaps between Fox and and and and and Goose need to be bigger"
When he wrote it up the editor had difficulty sorting out the punctuation and spacing between and and and and and  and and  and and and and and and and and and so he resorted to colour coding them.

BTW, as far as I know I'm the only one who has ever bothered to write that one out; google shows some similar ones in monochrome.
