Asteroids can attain velocities of 50 km/second which means the Grand Canyon could have been formed in just 5 seconds but the annihilation of the adjacent atmosphere would have certainly sucked all trees and vegetation out of the ground tens of kilometres around the site and the Colorado river later forced to find a new way inside the canyon.
If the asteroid were a 25 km cube then around 5x10^14 tons of planetary matter would have been annihilated resulting in what we see now.

Ignoring the kinetic energy aspect, the energy release from that much antimatter annihilating with matter would be about 4 x 10^19 megatons of TNT or the total energy of the output of the sun for several hundred days.  All life would be eradicated and a good portion of the earth would be blown out into space.  So I think your idea needs some tweaking.

Things are progressing like a cancer in government, like Nazi Germany. In California, abortion can be after birth by 48 hours and now there is talk of weeks after. They are sourced for spare organs like spare parts. It is a tragedy. I recall at age 11 attending the funeral of a still born cousin. And how grieved a friend was when he also lost a daughter. But some people abort for a career choice. Where is the love in that? For some money and pleasure are what guides them. Like with Maslow's chart of motivations, physiological needs at the bottom. It can imply greed.

Without personification Baal and Marduk are back. Sacrifice for fertility of the fields... but in another form.

Now it is possible a soldier with conscience and faith can be sent to fight for democracy, and his wife and children are hindered from going to church, at school taught queer theory, secular humanism, and abortion as a right, and the wife may be under pressure to kill her baby. He is not given a birth certificate. He returns home to tragedy. What did he fight for?

Please answer if based on the above data do you confirm that:
1. There are lot of particles in the wind between the BH and the star
Yes Or No?
2. The BH "isn't a great eater and not many particles are crossing its event horizon" which means that we don't observe that it eats any particle from outside.
Yes or No?
3. If the BH doesn't eat all the particles Infront of his mouth, then its gravity force isn't strong enough to grab them.
Yes or No?
4. As the BH' gravity force it too weak to grab even those free nearby particles, then it is very clear that it also doesn't have enough gravity force to kick any particle from the companion star.
Yes or No?
5. Therefore, all the lot particles have not been ejected from the star due to the poor BH gravity force

6. So how can we explain the existence of all the particles that are there in the stellar wind next to the mouth of the BH?

7. How long are we going to dream about Bhs that eat food/Particles from outside, while BHs refuse to eat any?

Don't you think that it's time to tell those puzzled scientists that their imagination about BH that could kick out particles from its companion star with its poor gravity force and eat them for breakfast is just incorrect?

The title of this thread is "How black holes really work", but you haven't said anything about how they 'really' work.  Are you ever going to address the title of the thread or just post off topic criticisms about the current mainstream theory?

That of course is wild speculation, based on the mistaken belief that evolution 'wants' to produce intelligent beings.  Dinosaurs were around for 165 million years (230 million years if we include the avian dinosaurs) without evolving towards an advanced intelligence.  Mammals have been on earth for 175 million years and it is only in the last 2 to 3 million years have they shown any advanced intelligence.  It seems that animals with advanced intelligence is more of a fluke than a norm.

The tidal effect of the Moon on the Earth is roughly twice that of the Sun's, Tidal forces fall off by the cube of the distance, so even with its great mass disadvantage, the much closer distance to the Moon more than compensates.

[slaps forehead] Of course.  Since the tides are due to the moon (primarily) that should have been a hint to me that I was incorrect...
