Dearest 3dologists and those who live in a 3d world,

As a sheepie I of course am 3d...despite a few peeps saying I have little substance I can vouch that  all dimensions are working within normal parameters.

It’s just as well we live in a 3D world because a 2d world would mean coca-cola would always be flat and I hate flat coke!...so..a big “cheers” to the bloke who invented 3D !

I have to say the 3D is quite impressive !.....

When I saw an advert on TV for the above 3D games thing...it says on the advert that specifically the 3D is not suitable for children under 7...why’s that then?

Why can I take my 6 year old son to see a 3D film, enjoy life with a 3Dtv but not play on the 3DS ?

Ewe see, I really do not know !...do ewe think it might change him into a pineapple ?

I can’t have a pineapple as a son !!

ah Neil - dunno how to say this, there are concerns that the nintendo 3d doogit can be bad for the eyes.  I wonder if this is nintendo's lawyers covering their corporate bottoms.  I will dig out a link - I heard about it when a friend tried to buy one on amazon and couldn't cos amazon pulled it for a week or so due to complaints

Well - this is speculation, young eyes can be cured of laziness, astygmatism, and other minor problems by prescription glasses that are developed to force the eye to change; could we guess that young healthy eyes could have the opposite thing occur if they spend too long looking at a strange/distorted source?

Every time (as a family) we gaze upon my wifes gravy we are looking at a strange/distorted sauce !!

well small 3D screens starts creating strain on your eyes after a continuous 15 minute gaze, actually its not a true vision, both the front and the rear views are patrial and transparent, giving the illusion of deapth, so constant gaze at that illusion will confuse the occipital cortex and strats giving u headache and those with the history of migraine will have the pain initiated. So avoid using 3D if u have any previous or family history of migrain and contraindicated for those with the history of epilepsy or fits.
