My opinion is that it's not particularly difficult.
Hydrogen is produced from ammonia, is it a problem?
Ammonia is released from this ammine...
1 litre of Mg(NH3)6Cl2 releases 1 litre of liquid ammonia(1.2 m3 of hydrogen at room temperature) and weights 1.2 kg!
The vapur pressure of ammonia at room temperature is 0.002 atm,
this ammine can be handled!!!
