So...?
-
He stopped breathing
-
???
Didn't he die of a lethal mixture of prescription drugs?? Leading to respiatory arrest and subsequent death.
-
That's what I said - he stopped breathing.
-
HEY, EVERYONE !!
We have another Captain Obvious!
-
That is how most of us die After all!

Well it was a stupid question!
And if he can't be bothered to spell "Australian" correctly (FOG) why should I give a more detailed answer?
-
Actually, I think Captain Oblivious is more appropriate.
-
Heath Ledger died of an Overdose from having taken a lot of different medicines/drugs such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine last year.

The world is full of Captains Oblivii[sp?]. They are the majority.
-
lol @ Oblivii, that's the first time i've seen that word, I like it. I've been completely oblivious to it until now.
Though i'm not sure it is a word :P
-
LeeE was grammatically incorrect anyway. He pluralised "Captain" so "Oblivious" should not also have been pluralised.
(really pedantic FOG)

Have you thought about getting a hobby? Or maybe a life?? [:)] [:P]

I have hobbies and I have had a good life, thank you very much [:P]

Lol - I wasn't sure, but I figured that as the Captains pleural would be oblivious to different things, pluralising both seemed appropriate.
-

Why would the lining of his chest cavity come into the conversation?
-
Part of the chest lining is called the "pleura." What a very, very reaching pun - in order to make that connection this rodent needed to reach always the Lake District for that one.
-
I didn't have to reach that far as LeeE put "pleural" in his post.
-
So?
-
So?
Just saying.
-
Pleural
Oops! - Lol - spellchecker misuse

What LeeE was very sensibly trying to do was give the concept of Captain Oblivious a scientific flavour by using the taxonomic system, that is, Captain is the genus and the species oblivii. What he should not have done of course is capitalise the species.(turbo FOG and smug) [^]

erm... yeah. That too.

That is how most of us die After all!
Don't most people die of heart failure?

Respiratory arrest usually happens first
