Hahaha,  see, that's what I mean about missing your humor.  Ruthenium may not be quite as amused as me though.

That's right!  I laughed at the humor, but I don't know anything about the dye.

thankfully no she didn't have any of the above nor did she have the novelty tune when you press the horn, but she was the most mature boy racer in the village and she loved it, I thought it was like a boat

Actually I am now the proud purveyor of a set of white fluffy dice with black spots. Sarah bought them for me in the local shop shortly after we bought our car. They were actually obscuring the view through the windscreen so we've had to relegate them to dangling from the interior light in the back rather than the rear view mirror. Dead cool though (honest !)

Do you mean the color, or the chemical? Synonyms for the color are Cleopatra, and ultramarine, or Ch'ing. I can't find Capri blue in my AATCC dye listings, although it's described as a "blue oxazine dye" .

Similar dyes are:
Blue  6 Meldola's blue  CI 909
Blue 12 Basic Blue A    CI 913
Blue 10 Gallocyanine    CI 883
Blue 56 Dephine Blue B  CI 878

That'a all I could find.

It is a biological dye (as other similar ones you have mentioned), that also could be used as complexing agent for some platinum metals. I also could not find it in CI Catalogue.

Thanks for try
