Hello:
I had made this enquiry much earlier and I am re-posting this should anybody be able to help me, please.
I have a high fever each time I fantasize heavily or cuddle up a girl or have sex. I end up treating malaria fever after any of these aforementioned sexual activities. Most times I do not even feel the fever immediately as it normaly comes on ie the fever some hours after. Even when I just cuddle a girl and nothing more. I end up treating malaria fever twice a week. It is only after I treat malaria and feel sick for 3 days that I get well again. I try to keep away from girls as a result as much as I can help it. But this has to stop, I will marry some day. It has been on for several years now. I am 35 years old. This is not just a case of POIS as I feel feverish not just with post orgasm but also with pre sex.
I can use help, please. I tried herbs, etc but ended up without any end to the problem, even tried detoxification and watched my diets when some alternative medical fellow said I had stuff in my blood that was making my fever reach that high. Please help

You need to take extreme caution if you are regularly getting fevers in excess of 40°C or 104°F, and certainly should discuss possible courses of action with a licensed medical practitioner. If the fevers are lower, then you would be at less personal risk.
Have you tried taking antihistamines such as Benadryl, Claritin, or Allegra?
Antipyretics such as Aspirin or Tylenol? You could take them early. Quinine?
Here are some basic questions. Some may be personal, but this is also somewhat of a personal topic:- How long has this been happening?
- Was there ever a time before it started happening?
- What is your resting blood pressure and pulse before & during the episodes? Skin color?
- Do you ever get migraine headaches? Sensitivity to noise or light during the episodes?
- Is there anything else that brings on the symptoms?
- What about flowers? Perhaps perfume counters at department stores?
- Do you drink alcohol? Smoke... anything? Drink coffee, tea, or other caffeinated beverages?
- Personal or family history of Depression or Bipolar disease, or other mental illnesses?
- Allergies? Symptoms?
Can you also give a complete list of symptoms with as much detail as possible.
- Actual temperatures? Durations?
- Nausea & Vomiting during episodes?
- Light Sensitivity during episodes?
- Muscle & Joint Pain?
- Headaches?
- Grogginess?
- Blood Pressure & Pulse during episodes, and independent of episodes?
- Other illnesses?
- Are you taking any medications?
I suppose I'm wondering about "curing" vs "controlling". I.E. perhaps a medication that you could use to control the symptoms. But, that might also be a dangerous game to play. However, if you are lucky, it might get more mild over time, perhaps "breaking a cycle".

A lot of the members on our POIS thread get symptoms after just getting sexually excited even without having an orgasm. Perhaps you have a mild form of POIS and some of the remedies we've found to help our condition may help yours.
