When I feel like all is crazy and I am loosing my mind.. I shut the door here to my computer room and I begin posting.. reading old posts. Emailing old friends new friends. Writing, expressing feelings and jabbering to you all endlessly.. Sorry! I sew, I read,I clean, I cry by myself till I feel better! What is it that you all do when you need to find your sanity?

Hi Karen - I've been going through a very trying time lately. Mostly what has helped me is prayer and reflecting upon the past. I try to remember all the difficult times I've gone through, and there have been many, and reminding myself that everything has always worked out. That's what has kept me calm these days. And, a dear friend once told me to try and think of hard times as just passages of time.

"I am losing my mind".....
Have you ever considered losing your mind is what you really need to do to end the chaos and craziness?
If it is "your" mind, who are you? Who loses the mind? It is not a play on words, consider it a freudian slip of the mind, and evolution is taking us beyond the mind.
You make yourself crazy when you loose your center. As long as you center around the mind, and thoughts, then you find your sanity in the mind, the past, all the thoughts. You center is not the mind, not the body. All the things, thoughts, of the mind pull you AWAY from your center. Your center is really present moment conscious awareness. This is who you are. Quite simple, and for most, too simple. So they complicate it with the mind. Complicate it with the past, a dead past. And then it is chaos and craziness, history and wars. At the very least mental anguish and unhappiness.
Forget your mind and then see it is only a mere tool for the only you that is real to utilize when necessary; tune it out when junk is playing on your internal dialog radio.

Normally I get my guitar and play some gentle Bach (usually from the Anna Magdelena Notebook) or put on some thrash metal and mosh around the place like a loon [:o)]

I get some classical music on as soon as I can. Chills me out straight away

Those sound good . I think the thrash metal might numb my brain or make me more crazy.. I like the classical it has a calming effect!

And unfortunately with the lack of hair on my head pigtails are out of the equation [:(]

I wouldn't say that you walked into it hun. There are always new terms and phrases made up by people. That's what the Urban dictionary is all about, people add their terms to different words or things that they have heard. It's crazy how many entries have been made on there, and also some are quite disturbing [:o]

I have never been to that site. It seems one of you told me about it once. I think it was you or George!I can't remember. I know I need to be more articulate so I am not so exposed, so to speak!!

I wouldn't recommend going on there to be fair, only use it if someone uses a word you don't know, there is some vile stuff lurking on there
